Denny and Katie- It all goes Arabia

            

It's a hot summers morning in Tagmarin Texas and Denise, her friend Katie, her mom and her cousins all sat down and watched a documentary on Egypt. Katie watches intently as Hieroglyphs, Pyramids and Pharaohs are mentioned. Katie opens up a new section in her scrapbook, labeled "Ancient Egypt" and starts to ponder

"Wow, Egypt seems totally amazing, I want to go there next!" Katie says. "What?! You wanna go somewhere full of bloodsucking mosquitoes in the middle of a 3rd world country where disease is all over... It's called the West Nile disease for a reason!" Denny remarks "So, I think it'll be fun, we might find a mummy like Brendan Fraiser did all those years ago" Katie says excitedly
"But hold on! you know foreign countries really hate America for doing messed up things no one else appreciates, we gotta come up with a disguise" Denny figured. "Hold on!" Delilah came up with something "We're near the Middle East, the Middle East has a thing for terrorism, Islam, and... get this! Belly Dancers! I've always wanted to be a belly dancer! that'll be the perfect disguise" 

"What!? No way!" Katie got annoyed "I'm don't show that much skin, I only let the breeze touch my belly and thighs, nothin' else!" "C'mon Katie, what's the worst that can happen!?" Denny wondered
Moments later, the room was dark, then suddenly, the lights came on and Denny and Delilah are in custom made belly dancer outfits, Denny wearing a red number with green jewels and an impressive pony tail that'd make Shantae jealous, Delilah on the other hand, wears a purple outfit with grey poofy pants and a gold belly ring that can be removed. "C'mon! Let's kick some Afghanistan!" Delilah yelled confidentially. "Stop with the Middle East jokes, it's humiliating" Katie said in an upset manner
"All we need is your outfit Katie and we'll be all set to go" Denny says "No way! my outfit is too revealing, what if people see my derrière.?" Katie was worried "C'mon girly! put that outfit on, You'll look pretty!" Denny shoves Katie into the changing room and Katie changed into her belly dancing outfit
"Okay, here goes" Katie comes out wearing a cute pink top with a flowing bottom dress, gold bracelets, necklaces and headresses galore! She looked amazing "I hate this outfit... It makes me feel naked" Katie said disappointingly
"What are you talking about, you look hot!" Delilah compliments "Let's go get our tickets!"

the girls each get their tickets for Egypt and set out, once they arrive, Katie takes pictures of locales like the Sphynx, the Great Pyramids and the River Nile. The girls want to go down the river but don't have any money for a raft so Delilah became a makeshift raft for them and onlookers gave her funny looks. 

They stop by an entertainment hall of sorts where the belly dancers perform, Denny and Katie are raring to go, but Katie's nowhere to be found. "I think Katie went to look for a mummy, can you find her for me honey?" Delilah asked "Sure thing mom" and Denny went off into the pyramid where Katie was...

"Wow! this is a pyramid, I thought it was just a place full of death tra..." *SLAM!* Denny was flattened by a moving wall! Denny took a deep breath and strained to reinflate "Dang! I need to be more caref..." *SNIKT* Spears came out of holes in the ground and impaled Denny, but there was no blood shed

"Man, this place really sucks... what's gonna happen next? *POINT* a poison dart hits Denny in the rear and she passes out, since the poison doesn't go through her bloodstream, she was still conscious.

Moments later, she awoke to a mysterious figure dragging Denny by her feet into a strange room with magnificent treasure... the tomb of the Pharoah! she then finds Katie tied up in bandages much like the figure himself, Denny fears that the same's gonna happen! "Who are you and what are you doing to me!" Denny asked in a panic. the figure began speaking an ancient Egyptian dialect that Denny nor Katie understand, the Mummy on the end however, could understand him "He says 'Welcome to your doom, I am the Pharoah Tutankhamun, but you may call me Tut" the mummy says "Hey, I heard about you, you were really young during Pharoah-hood" Katie said. Tut spoke again and the Mummy spoke "One of you belly dancers are going to be the bride of the Pharoah, since he was 18 when he died, the oldest girl has gotta go!"

"WHAT!" Denny yelled! "I can't die! I gotta a whole life of eating, sleeping, stretching and being happy!" Denny started to bawl "Your life is not that great Denny, I've been filling out my scrapbook since I was 2 years old, all I wanted to do was travel around the world, but my fears of everything keep getting in the way, I've made many friends in many places and most of all... I am your bestfriend... If anything, take me instead of Denny, she doesn't deserve it."

"Katie!" Denny yelled as Tut took her away. she melted out of her cuffs and started attacking Tut. however, the Mummy won't back down from a fight, he drew out an odd looking sword, a Scimitar and started slashing about at Denny, Denny dodged nimbly and knocked the sword out of his hands and into her own "How does it feel to die a 2nd time King Toot!" 

But King Tut summoned an army of the dead to chase after Denny and Katie! "Hey Katie, I'm sorry for being lame... I didn't think your life had any real meaning and that it was much like mine!" Denny apologized profusely "It's okay Denny, If it weren't for you, my scrapbook would've never been finished! and if not for me, I don't know how you could live with yourself!" Katie forgive Denny and got out of the pyramid... to keep the army of the dead out, Denny stretched great lengths to gather giant rocks to block the entrance and ran back to meet Delilah, the show is about to start!

"Girls! Glad you made it! the show's about to begin, you guys ready?" Delilah asked, they answered yes...
The girls hung out back stage and wait to be announced. "Hey Katie, I was thinking about spicing things up during our set, wait'll people see this!" Denny inhaled a lot of air and inflated like a balloon, Katie pokes her with a pin and says "Stop showing off your rubber carcass, it's weird"

And then the show starts. the girls start showing off how limber they are with strange and absurd dance moves that manage to arouse the crowd to a degree. the people were loving it, Denny inflated like a balloon and everyone cheered, it seems like people in the east like inflated chicks too, Delilah followed and Katie said "What the heck" and blew up too. The show was a hit! the manager of the show hit them up with a deal that they can perform 5 times a week for 80 bucks American
"I gladly accept the offer, but Denny's got school and so does Katie, and I have to take care of my nieces" Delilah says... as they leave, Delilah stretches her neck and whispers "But... I'm available every summer" and gives him a kiss.

As they got home, Denny and Katie show Claire their crazy dance moves and she decides to get a go at it, however, Claire needs a lesson or too because she keeps stumbling
"For a girl who works out, I sure need to learn how to dance..."

And the girls laugh it off.
Going around the world with Denny and Katie is a blast
